Queen Creek Civic Leadership & Nonprofit Community Expo 2023 met on January 31st. The About Care team was honored to participate in the event. Several other nonprofits that provide services in the community also participated. Since 1995, The Queen Creek Citizen Leadership Institute (CLI) has graduated 688+ participants and continues to be an integral and valuable part of the Queen Creek experience. QC Citizen Leaders are citizen ambassadors, civic leaders, and community stewards. Steven Harvey, About Care’s Community Outreach Coordinator, gave a PowerPoint presentation. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet leaders from the other nonprofits and combine efforts to serve more people.
