About Us

About Care is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded by Barbara and Buzz Bradley in June of 2006. Barbara, who had been the Executive Director of Neighbors Who Care, began the organization when she realized that there were no services for the homebound in Chandler. After creating About Care, Barbara and Buzz expanded service to Gilbert residents.

Sixteen years later, the About Care team still strives to empower independent living in Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, and San Tan Valley, Arizona. In a recent Needs Assessment completed by an independent consulting firm for the City of Chandler, About Care was recognized as one of only two organizations in the assessment summary that are making a difference in the lives of the elder communities they serve.

About Care Mission: To deliver caring and compassionate support services using trained volunteers with special concern for the homebound elderly and and disabled residents of Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, and San Tan Valley, Arizona.

About Care Goal: To encourage and enable independent living by assisting our neighbors to continue living in their homes with dignity and self-respect.
