At About Care, we are looking for compassionate and caring individuals who want to make a difference in someone’s life. We know scheduling is hectic, but as little as one to four hours a month can mean so much to someone who needs that extra support. We are also aware that your schedule is constantly changing, so you are in control of your volunteer time.
About Care provides volunteers with a unique, personalized experience. As a volunteer, you pick your hours, schedule, and services that you would like to offer. Volunteers can help with a variety of activities including transportation to and from appointments or the store, friendly visits, reassurance calls, and minor home repairs. You may find yourself providing service to one or two specific individuals or possibly mixing it up and helping several different people over a period of time. The choice is yours!
Who Can Volunteer?
We encourage a variety of compassionate and caring individuals to provide support services to our clients. We accept applications from volunteers as young as high school students. A brief interview/orientation are required to become an About Care Volunteer which can be scheduled at your convenience. Please complete the Online Volunteer Application online to get started.
